THEY NEVER QUIT, IT WAS A SWITCH

It's either we learn to say it right, or we stop talking about it all together.
The successful people in life never quit *education*.
Education can be formal, informal, assisted or self-taught. Some of them left school because they couldn't afford fees, but they got books to teach themselves. They turned to people around them to get enlightment. Unfortunately, the only part we see is that they quit school and became successful. How can a person be successful in something he or she is ignorant about. It is true they did not sit in the classroom, it is also true that they never stopped working hard and studying.

They did not quit, they switched. Realizing that what they were studying was not what they wanted, it was not something they had at heart, they decided to switch to something they had at heart, something they will never have to give up on or switch from again. You are also at liberty to switch ways. After this switch was a successive years of hard work and self empowerment.
They did not leave school to be  sitting in the "base". They did not quit to spend all their time proving to Facebook how well they are faring. They did not quit to spend 20/24 hours in the internet cafe.
They persisted!
They knew the kind of life they wanted.
They created their future.
They never gave up.

I saw a post which was seeking for a cook for a school, and to my surprise I saw "send your CV to the email below", Just a mixer of salt and water for kids is being asked to present a CV, what about you and I with dreams and ambitions like mountains? Do we even know what a CV is?
Do you still think quitting education is the solution?

Yes,  you can quit school, but after quitting ; find something better to do with your life.
Do not stay around the "Ataaya-base" wasting your time and life. There are a lot of handy works outside there. You can also come out with your own innovation. This way, you can bodly say, you are on the path of those who quit school to be successful.
You cannot sit idle and expect the skies to fall into your hands. It doesn't work like that and you know that.

My dear Zongo and Non-Zongo Youth; it is  time we set our priorities right.
This is the time that we have more than enough energy, so let's make good use of it.
We cannot afford to fail in life. So stand up today, even if you cannot go to school; there is still a way of getting yourself educated. School is just a branch of education, so leaving school doesn't mean you should forget all about education. We have done great things before and we can do greater things; we just have to wake up from the nightmare that " successful people quit school"

So I met this long queue at the entrance of Nestle Ghana, I was at the bottom wondering when it will be my turn to get my paper endorsed. It became a habit, and it became like the most discussed topic between mum and I. She had her own way of getting it all out of me. She could get me to discuss every single marriage proposal that came my way during my time away from home. Sometimes we discuss past proposals to see if they should be thrashed out or can they still be considered, we then come into the present and jot down new proposals. I don't know what dragged me into this big city filled with tall buildings and big cars. I was happy downtown with my family. I remember when we rode on donkeys to the farm every dawn. Now the only sounds I hear at dawn is the dragging of pans and teenagers like me shouting "The Bus Has Arrived"!!! Was it the big barrels and shiny utensils Saratu returned home with after spending 2years in the city that attracted me here?, or my will to put a smile on my parents face  that got me into this regretful existence?.
