GREATEST ASSET (FAMILY).

The prophet (s.a.w) told us "if you want to increase your 'rizq' in this life then do not break family ties....
Have you ever sat down to contemplate as to why he said this, what didn't his family members do to him , The first person to rain insults on the prophet to the extend of cursing him when Islam was introduced was his family member (Abhi lahab).

Let's look at Annabi lut, alayhi salam. It was his wife who betrayed him and not his friends nor his followers but the greatest asset of his family did him bad

Annabi Nuh wasn't an exception ,his own son refused to believe in what he preached to the extend he was consumed by the wrath of Allah.

Annabi Yusuf was not spared of this family caucus. His own brothers did all in their might to bring him down .

These are the messengers of Allah subhaanahu wata aaala , and they were attacked mostly by their greatest asset (family). Yet they never gave up praying for them they never went a day without praying for their family members

The world today is drawing away from this greatest asset. With the invent of nuclear family system . People seem to have forgotten the extended family too is a family. Some people don't even talk to their family members subhaanallah some even don't talk to their mothers..where is this dunya leading us to.....? 

What sin did your family members do that is greater than what the people of quraysh were doing...they were into the greatest sin "SHIRK"
But still the prophet (s.a.w) still tried his best to maintain the peace love and harmony that existed among them.

Why can't you pray for your family members .perhaps the compassion you show them is going to make them turn to a new leaf.
Allah knows we have anger yet he tell us to forgive and overlook.
May Allah guide and protect us all.
May he give us patience for He (Allah) is with the patient

So I met this long queue at the entrance of Nestle Ghana, I was at the bottom wondering when it will be my turn to get my paper endorsed. Suddenly there was a false alarm that stirred up everybody and got them to start running. It became a habit, and it became like the most discussed topic between mum and I. She had her own way of getting it all out of me. She could get me to discuss every single marriage proposal that came my way during my time away from home. Sometimes we discuss past proposals to see if they should be thrashed out or can they still be considered, we then come into the present and jot down new proposals. I don't know what dragged me into this big city filled with tall buildings and big cars. I was happy downtown with my family. I remember when we rode on donkeys to the farm every dawn. Now the only sounds I hear at dawn is the dragging of pans and teenagers like me shouting "The Bus Has Arrived"!!!
