THE ENEMY INSIDE YOU

Asalamu Alaikum Brothers and sisters  in islam

Everytime we do something wrong we say SHAITAAN!!

And we forget about an enemy that resides in us

That enemy is our NAFS

Yes brothers and sis....You have an enemy inside you.
Eats with  you
Sleeps with you

He is your NAFS
your own NAFS

"Indeed the NAFS  is inclined to EVIL , except the one whom Allah have mercy on"...

The best person who ever achieved servitude in all his speeches....
At the begining of a speech he will say " wa na-udhubillahi min shuruuri anfusinaa" (ie) and i seek refuge with Allah 'sunhaanahu wata aala' from   the evil of my nafs.
And this is MOHAMMED( S.A.W).

What about you and me?

In sunnah tirmidhi...When Abubakr (R.A) asked the prophet (S.A.W)  about words that he can say in the morning and at night..Rasool (S.A.W) told him certain words and in these words were "wa a uuzubika minshari nafsee" (ie) And i seek refuge with you Allah from the evil of my soul.

Alot of Muslims are unaware of this enemy, and they blame shaitaan all the time

You ever heard someone saying i have been trying to give up this sin but i cannot...you know why? is because he cannot say NO!!!! to his nafs.

Dont you see some people in the masjid and all of a sudden disappear and they come back and disappear again...Is because of this NAFS. 

They say...I cannot give up the sin...I just cannot ... is because of the Nafs.

Brothers and sisters ...The first Arena of jihad is your nafs.

You must wage war against your nafs in order to make it.

Ibn Qayyim R.A said is a Mountain on your way to Allah ...Imagine you going to Allah and there is only one way and on this way is a mountain...If you want to continue to Allah...You must climb this mountain!!

If you dont you will not make it to Allah.

May Allah have mercy on us and give us the strength to fight this nafs.

So I met this long queue at the entrance of Nestle Ghana, I was at the bottom wondering when it will be my turn to get my paper endorsed. Suddenly there was a false alarm that stirred up everybody and got them to start running. THEY CALL ME KAYAYO; MY NAME IS MARWAH

I don't know what dragged me into this big city filled with tall buildings and big cars. I was happy downtown with my family. I remember when we rode on donkeys to the farm every dawn. It became a habit, and it became like the most discussed topic between mum and I. She had her own way of getting it all out of me. She could get me to discuss every single marriage proposal that came my way during my time away from home. Sometimes we discuss past proposals to see if they should be thrashed out or can they still be considered, we then come into the present and jot down new proposals. Amazingly we sometimes even discuss those I think are showing signs of putting in their proposals the next semester I guess. These chats became our most enjoyed ones.
